Since 2023, Sunset Habits has been an integral part of Kathryn's life returning to London. Including Jason Kofi, Margarida Bartillotti Roxo and Ben Baker this album encapsulates all their time together in the recording studio and writing each song as a group. She also created this logo using Adobe.

A song designed for a Disney film against a soft, yet full orchestra with a majestic violin countermelody. The voice is fragile with a simple piano line. It is written as if set in a musical, performed just before the end of Act 1 preceding a full-cast medley. It describes a woman frustrated that she will never have love from the man she wants and she mourns her loss to another woman. It is intended to be performed solo with the setting of a river where the man she loves has just left her.
This cover describes the ‘small part of love’ the woman longs for. The image was actually taken at night but edited to create the illusion of daylight; though this is subtly apparent, much like the love the character so desperately wants is an illusion.
Performances
‘Didn’t Take You That Long’ has an indie, ‘Sam Fender’ feel with some inflections of 'Fleetwood Mac'. With a unique and upbeat sound, the song denotes the feeling of being trapped in a relationship with someone who is trying to change you as a person, but at the beginning they displayed a nice person until they 'messed up my head'.
Those who know their Roman celing paintings, the image above is S.A.N.A’s intrepretation of the classic MichelAngelo painting ‘Adam vs. God’ hand-drawn, painted and edited. It perfectly represents life and death in a much darker way than its intended meaning.

Two very personal songs about heartbreak, ‘A Shard of a Heart’ has the most raw and intense tracks S.A.N.A has released both instrumentally and vocally. Influenced by Adele, Kate Bush and Tori Amos, both songs were recorded with a Steinway grand piano by herself with a very large dynamic range heightening the vulnerability in the vocal. To match, this artwork was drawn by S.A.N.A as a self portrait with a sorrowful expression.

A collaboration with original composition by Liam Badgery and Soraia Fortuna playing guitar and vocals respectively. This song takes on many psychedelic elements which was involved in the mixing. Edward Therens Garcia wrote and played the bass guitar parts and Jermaine Alexander features on drums. S.A.N.A wrote, played and recorded piano and synth textures in various studios and from home.

Valerie -Amy Winehouse
Released in 2023, the classic tune has been reimagined in an alternative version. With vocals that take a back seat with the alternating piano rhythm being the main focus for most of the song. Later the bass picks up in intricate solo lines and multiple voices layer to create a sound overlay.
S.A.N.A felt a deep connection to this song at the time, struggling with physical, chronic and mental illness. The idea for the chord reimagining came to her in a dream and brought her love of music back to life, so this version will always have a special place in her heart.

A main characteristic of folk describes a story and this is exactly what this song does against a soundscape backdrop of rain falling with sweet woodwind interludes. The song is all about the strength of a character and also denial that she simply ‘don’t care’ about the situation, though the sad acoustic guitar indicates the opposite.
This artwork is reflective of the song in the seriousness of S.A.N.A’s facial expression and the brick wall also symbolises how singing this song feels, like talking to a brick wall.

Combining stark elements from the classic and well-loved ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’ by Bill Withers and ‘It’s A Mans’ Mans’ Mans’ World’ by James Brown, this song describes a person who only has a short time on this planet left so their time is limited and people tend to waste it. Though dark lyrically, the instrumentation follows an upbeat drum pattern with free-flowing saxophone lines complimenting numerous backing vocal lines.

Above shows an arrangement for a small group, mixing 'I Got The...' by Labi Siffre and 'My Name Is' by Eminem together and recreating the samples of different genres into a salsa with some merengue influences.

Human Brutality Compilation - using mixed media
Composed fully and visually edited by S.A.N.A, this 25 minute clip adopts the musical themes of the original shows and series whilst manipulating them into a medley to fit the media.
This was created for a major project for a third year studying musical engineering. S.A.N.A was asked to edit specific scenes from various shows that show humans capability for brutality in the most shocking ways. Once the engineer was happy, the process of sending musical ideas began in a 6 month process leading to this final result.

Western Style Composition with Three Themes
This is a composition combining three made-up scenes in a typical Western movie. The beginning represents a triumphant start when we first meet the hero with some brass flourishes. The second theme should play in the background of a lovers' scene, representing the blossoming love between them with playful tunes on the guitar and piano. Then something more dark appears and lives seem at stake, powered by synths and a electric guitar with a commanding riff.
